Poppy Insure has teamed up with LV = to provide an affordable way to make sure your family aren't left with a financial burden when you die. The LV= 50 Plus plan is designed to pay out a lump sum on death to help out with funeral expenses, pay off bills and loans, or just act as a gift for those you've left behind.
If you are aged 50 to 80 and resident in the UK you are guaranteed to be accepted when you apply
and no medical is required. Plans start from just £5 a month and you'll even receive a free gift when your plan starts. Depending on how long you live you could end up paying more in premiums than the cover pays out. The plan has no cash in value.
While many similar plans won't always pay out in full if you die in the first two years, with the LV = 50 Plus plan your family will receive a guaranteed payout if you die a year or more after your plan starts, providing your premiums are up to date. However if you die within the first 12 months, depending on your circumstances, the plan may only pay out the premiums you've paid without interest. Please note, cover is fixed when the plan starts, and doesn't change, meaning it won't keep up with inflation.
